When York staged its first comedy festival a few years ago Chris volunteered to have a go at stand-up, then write about the experience for the city’s newspaper. The organisers agreed thinking it would be a bit of a laugh. At most.
After his debut at the Other Side Comedy Club his name was seared into the minds of a disbelieving crowd. ‘Chris Tittle. Or whatever his name was,’ wrote one of them on the comedy club website, ‘Are you gonna get him again? Quite incredible for his first gig.’
You can read about the night that has gone down in comedy history as ‘May 11, 2003’ here:

Since then Chris has performed sporadically (owing to a condition that affects his sporads) often to silent approval.
If you would like to book him to perform at your club or corporate event, you must be mad. I mean, you’ve never heard of him or seen his act, and neither has anyone else you know.
Any road, he hopes to do more stand-up this year on his tour, Chris Titley: Dying With Dignity.
